Summer shipping advisory
Summer shipping policy is effective in these states:
Arizona, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee.
At Butter & Me, we are committed to ensuring that your order arrives in perfect condition, especially during the warm summer months. To combat the challenges posed by higher temperatures, we have implemented the following summer shipping protocols:
- Seasonal Time Frame: Our summer shipping protocols are in effect from May to September, aligning with the typical rise in temperatures.
- Scheduled Ship Days: We only ship orders from Monday to Wednesday. This scheduling is strategic to prevent orders from sitting in hot warehouses over the weekend, thereby reducing the risk of melting.
- Eco-Friendly Insulation: Every item is carefully insulated with an environmentally friendly, corn-starch-based material, accompanied by a reusable ice pack. This combination helps to maintain a cooler temperature within the package during transit.
- Expedited Shipping: We expedite all shipments using USPS Priority.
- For orders above $50, we will continue to honor free shipping without additional charges.
- For orders under $50, we will be charging a flat rate shipping fee of $8.00.
Your action
Please keep track of your package and bring the package to room temperature as soon as you receive it.
If the package was exposed to heat (>90F) or if the packaging box feels warm to the touch, please place the item(s) in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before opening. This step ensures the contents resolidify, allowing for easy handling.
It's important to note that while we take these steps to ensure your order's integrity during shipping, Butter & Me cannot be held responsible for products that melt during transition due to external factors beyond our control, including but not limited to exposure to high temperatures or if the package is left unattended for an extended period upon arrival at its destination. It is crucial for customers to promptly retrieve and properly store their items upon delivery to avoid such issues.
General Shipping
We offer free shipping for orders $50 or more.
Shipping rates for orders below $50 will be charged a flat rate of $5 (except as posted in summer shipping advisory above).
We currently only ship to the US lower 48 states.
All orders will be shipped within 3 business days (except as posted in summer shipping advisory above).
Any delivery failures caused by the carrier are beyond our control, and we are not responsible for incorrect mailing addresses entered by customers. Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds in such circumstances. If you encounter any issues with your delivery, please feel free to contact our customer support team at hello@butterandme.co. We'll be delighted to assist you.
To save the trees, we will not print your packing slip. Please refer to your order confirmation email if you want to check on your order item(s).
P/S: All our shipping materials are made from recycled materials and are recyclable and biodegradable. Please keep the cycle going!
